Product Care

C a n d l e s

Our hand-poured candles will burn for up to 45 hours. Taking care of your candle will ensure that it lasts for the maximum possible time and that the scent remains consistent, right until the very last burn. Before lighting your candle, always trim the wick to prolong the life of your candle and to prevent a black rim appearing at the top of the jar.

When you light your candle for the first time, make sure that you allow it to burn for at least one hour, or until it creates a ¼ inch melt pool around the whole container. This will ensure the candle burns evenly down the glass and lasts for as long as possible.

We strongly advise that you do not burn any candle for more than two or three hours at a time as there is a risk of the glass jar overheating or exploding.

Do

  • Handle with care as containers may become hot!
  • Make sure the candle is placed on a stable, heat resistant level surface.
