How to Use Bakhoor: Step-by-Step Guide

If you're new to using bakhoor, it may seem daunting at first. But with a little bit of practice, you can master the art of using this aromatic incense to create a fragrant and inviting atmosphere in your home. Follow these simple steps to use bakhoor effectively:

Step 1: Gather Your Supplies

To use bakhoor, you'll need a few key items. These include a bakhoor burner, a lighter or matches, some charcoal tablets to help light the bakhoor and of course, some bakhoor.

Step 2: Prepare Your Bakhoor Burner

Before you begin using bakhoor, you'll need to prepare your bakhoor burner. This can be a small ceramic or metal bowl or container that's designed specifically for burning bakhoor. Make sure the burner is clean and free of any debris. If you are looking for the perfect burner for your home, we recommend our Niaa or Luna stone burners.

Step 3: Light the Charcoal

If you're using charcoal tablets to help light the bakhoor, place one tablet in the burner and light it with a lighter or matches. Allow the charcoal to heat up for a few minutes until it starts to turn red then eventually grey.

Step 4: Add Your Bakhoor

Once the charcoal is ready, it's time to add your bakhoor. You can either sprinkle the bakhoor directly onto the charcoal, or you can place it on a piece of tin foil or heat-resistant material before placing it on top of the charcoal. You can create the perfect ambience for your home with scents carefully curated by Ineerah.

Step 5: Enjoy the Fragrance

As the bakhoor begins to heat up and release its fragrance, take a moment to enjoy the beautiful aroma. You can move the bakhoor burner around your home to spread the fragrance, or simply leave it in one place and let the fragrance fill the room.
